Seventeen Students Inducted into the National Honor Society

Congratulations to the seventeen students inducted into the National Honor Society on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Students were nominated and selected based on the National Honor Society's four pillars of academic excellence: scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

Current members Esteisy Alexis-Michel, South Boston, Chinyelu Crawford, Dorchester, Keiana Ferguson, Mattapan, Rosnely Mordan, Dorchester, Eniyah Nieves-Henderson, Brockton, Aissatou Sall, Dorchester, and Jeilyn Tejeda, Dorchester, welcomed the new members and performed the induction ceremony. 

Congratulations to seniors Brandon Barani, Hyde Park, Makayla Brito-Lopez, Dorchester, Deanna Miles-Langaige, Mattapan, Anthony Polanco, Dorchester, Mariah Ortiz-Falcon, Dorchester and Hamdi Shariff-Omar, Roxbury, who were inducted last night. 

The following juniors were also inducted into the National Honor Society and will lead the group in the 2023-2024 academic year. Brenda Aviles, Roxbury, Carter Dambreville, Dorchester, Lawrence Gustama, Dorchester, Chrichna Jolicoeur, Dorchester, Franklin Lopez, East Boston, Cynthia Nguyen, Dorchester, Mai Nguyen, Dorchester, Isis Pichardo, Roxbury, Azaan Rodriguez, Mattapan, London Sappleton, Dorchester, Ariani Vazquez Fernandez, Dorchester.

As part of the Cristo Rey Boston Corporate Work Study program, these students work one day a week at the following businesses; Bond Brothers, Inc., Brigham & Women's Hospital, Club Quarters Hotels, Corcoran Jennison Associates, Cushman & Wakefield, JPMorgan Chase, Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, Longroad Energy Partners LLC, MathWorks, Museum of Science, Boston, O'Neill and Associates, LLC, PMA Consultants, Safety Insurance, Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy, St. Anthony Shrine, Thornton Law Firm, LLP, Utile Design, Veristat.
