Cristo Rey Boston Mourns the Loss of Kendric Price

Cristo Rey Boston High School is deeply saddened by the tragic death of our friend and co-worker Kendric Price.

Kendric exemplified our core values of dignity, perseverance, growth and generosity and was a tremendous role model for our scholars in both his academic and athletic accomplishments.

“Although Kendric had only recently joined the staff of Cristo Rey Boston High School, his presence had already made a profound impact on our scholars,” shared President Kevin J. Kraska. “His smile, obvious joy in working with our students, and personal story of success resonated deeply with our scholars.”

In addition to his work mentoring young men and women at Cristo Rey Boston High School as an account manager in the Corporate Work Study Program, Kendric coached basketball at both UMASS Boston and Brooke Charter High School, and was the founder of Big Business Network, designed to teach young students the fundamentals of investing.

“Our love and prayers are with Kendric’s family and friends,” said President Kraska. “May we take solace in the inspiring work Kendric accomplished in his short time with us.”

The loss of Kendric Price is being felt by the entire Cristo Rey community. The counseling staff will be on hand in the upcoming week to support our scholars and members of the Cristo Rey Boston community.
