Student Spotlight of the Week

We are so proud of our students and the many ways in which they have adjusted and excelled during these unprecedented times. Please join us in congratulating the following students for their extraordinary work ethic and accomplishments:

Yahir Cora-Sanchez (Freshman) is awarded a Certificate of Good Samaritan for his helpfulness and his caring attitude towards all his teachers! Well done, Yahir!

Arianna Ruiz-Rivera  (Sophomore) is awarded a Certificate of  The Extra Mile for going above and beyond to make all of her classmates feel included and cared for during remote learning, especially in ELA. Keep it up Arianna!

Ismael Daveiga-Balde (Sophomore) is awarded a Certificate of Leadership and Perseverance.  Ismael has consistently logged on and asked questions since the start of remote learning. His peers have also mentioned how helpful he has been in persevering through some of the tough Geometry problems! One of the highlights of my remote learning experience was when Ismael joined one of my classes later in the day to ask more questions and see if he was on the right track with a pretty challenging assignment. Ismael is generous, hard-working and a joy to teach! 

Lizbeth Gonzalez Junior (Junior) is awarded a Certificate of All Around Effort for perfect attendance in Theology class and showing incredible insight and efforts. Nice job, Lizbeth!

Allison Samuels (Junior) is awarded a Certificate of Participation & Preparation for actively participation in class every day, her insightful commentary and analytical mind.  Alison is also and prepared for class! Keep going Alison!

Clivohn Wilson (Senior) is awarded a Certificate of  Consistency for consistently contributing thoughtful and insightful responses in ELA. Clivohn has also exhibited tremendous growth! You got this Clivohn!

Cruz Pineda (Senior) is awarded a Certificate of Resiliency and Determination for her hard work and determination in AP Drawing. Cruz has continued to put love into her Art despite her responsibilities at work and home. “I am so proud of her!” says Ms. Edwards  AND a second award for Overall Positivity and Enthusiasm because she is always prepared, always cheerful, and always hands in her high quality work ahead of time in all her classes! Way to go Cruz!!!
