Mayor Martin J. Walsh visits Cristo Rey Boston

We were pleased to welcome the Mayor of Boston, Martin J. Walsh, to our school on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Mayor Walsh toured the school with President Kevin Kraska, met students and visited a few classrooms. We were delighted to show him our wonderful community.

Cristo Rey Boston's First Community Day a Big Success!

Friday, October 6, 2017 was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for the first Community Day of the new school year. Students and staff gathered in the spirit of friendly competition to play games, competing for the class prize and getting to know each other better outside of the classroom setting. Congratulations to the Juniors, Class of 2019, for coming in first!


Cristo Rey Boston High School president Kevin J. Kraska is pleased to announce that Raymond G. Dewar has been named principal of the school, effective late October. Dewar brings more than 30 years of experience in education to his new role, including 15 years as a high school principal.

Michael Kauffmann Receives Recognition from the National Endowment for the Humanities

Cristo Rey Boston High School is proud to announce that Michael Kauffmann, a member of our English Language Arts Department, has been selected as a National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Scholar. Chosen from a national applicant pool to attend one of 23 seminars and institutes supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities, Michael will focus on the great thinkers, participating in a seminar entitled “Philosophers of Education: Major Thinkers from the Enlightenment to the Present.”
