It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Mark P. Harty, Cristo Rey Boston High School’s Board of Trustees member and Corporate Work Study partner since 2014. Mark lost his two and one-half year battle with an illness that baffled the best medical teams in the region, but he never lost his bright, scholarly mind, his wonderful sense of humor nor his deep concern for others.

Mark was an incredible human being who had a profound effect and lasting impression on everyone who met him, regardless of their status in life. He possessed a rare and authentic gift in that he made everyone with whom he had contact feel like they were the most important person in the room. He was genuine, compassionate and a mentor to those who had the privilege of working with him, including our board members, our students placed at Morrison Mahoney and our CRB staff. We are deeply grateful for all that Mark has done for our community and the legacy he leaves behind.

A man of deep faith, he has joined his God in eternal life after experiencing the blessings of this earthly life. We ask that you keep Mark, his loved ones and his colleagues in your thoughts and prayers. May Mark now rest in peace.

Don't Stand Still, Make a Difference. CRB's Mannequin Challenge

Cristo Rey Boston's students challenge donors to support their school. Inspired by recent Mannequin Challenges used by celebrities and political action groups, our students engaged in a fun production of their own fundraising challenge.

Join us on Giving Tuesday in celebrating our student's creativity and recognizing the hard-working staff at Cristo Rey Boston. Please consider making a donation today!
