Thanks to the generosity of the Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research and the Community Exploration and Learning Lab (CELL) team, two groups of CRB students interested in learning more about science and pharmaceutical research got a unique opportunity to visit Novartis and participate in a lab lesson on consecutive Fridays. The students learned basic lab safety, pipette skills, and serial dilution.
Novartis has been a valuable partner to Cristo Rey Boston High School, and this year has expanded it's commitment by introducing students to careers in science by this series of lessons. Student's enjoyed the ability to have an experiential learning opportunity outside of the classroom. We are deeply thankful to Novartis for helping to inspire careers in STEM!
