Students David Perez-Encarnacion and Jasmine Rodriguez recently traveled to Philadelphia to represent Cristo Rey Boston High School at the second annual SUMA Conference. SUMA is the Cristo Rey Networks newly formed Student Union for Mission Alignment, where students from across the network have a voice at the national level with the goal of supporting continued growth and success at network schools and integrating student perspective into the creation of best practices. Representatives from 11 schools were in attendance and were hosted at La Salle University. This year’s conference focused on exchanging ideas on how to improve student retention. David and Jasmine exemplify leadership at CRB and were excited to participate in this exciting new initiative.
