Welcome and thank you for your interest in Cristo Rey Boston High School!

"I can’t tell you which star to grab up there in the sky, but you can stand on my shoulders for as long as you want and look for it” (Gil Reyes, trainer to Andre Agassi)

Cristo Rey Boston (CRB) is an inclusive Catholic high school located in the Savin Hill neighborhood of Dorchester, directly across from the Savin Hill Red Line T stop. By mission, we are committed to ensuring that students with limited economic resources have the same educational opportunities as their peers, to both attend college and succeed in the workforce. As a result, CRB attracts diverse students from across the city.

Our unique work study model provides the opportunity to combine a college preparatory education with hands-on professional work experience. The Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) is supported by professional partners from corporations across greater Boston committed to offering students the opportunity to work in a professional setting. Not only does the Corporate Work Study Program provide incredible work experience, it also allows students to pay for most of their tuition.

Students benefit from small class sizes taught by professionals dedicated to helping students. Our curriculum is intentionally designed to close achievement or knowledge gaps during freshman year, before moving the student forward academically. By senior year, students will take at least one Advanced Placement (AP) course as part of their preparation for college. Cristo Rey Boston offers college counseling, designed to help students make the best possible college choice for themselves. Cristo Rey Boston takes great pride in the fact that 100% of our graduating classes for the last eight years has been accepted into a four-year college.

Cristo Rey Boston recognizes the challenge presented by our model of education. A Cristo Rey Knight is excited by the idea of working in a professional setting via our work-study program, realizes that hard work in the classroom equals success, and is motivated to go to college.

We promise that every adult in the building and in your corporate work study assignment is committed to helping you realize your goals. Ultimately, it is up to you, the student, to determine where you want to go in life, but every staff member and faculty is committed to helping you in your journey.
