Welcome and thank you for your interest in Cristo Rey Boston High School!
Cristo Rey Boston is a Catholic, college preparatory high school located in a newly renovated facility in Dorchester. Students benefit from small class sizes in a culturally diverse environment in addition to a high level of commitment from the faculty and staff. The curriculum offered at Cristo Rey Boston begins with a freshmen year that focuses on math and English. Additionally, students take science, history, and religion courses. Seniors are required to take at least one Advanced Placement (AP) course as part of their preparation for college. Furthermore, Cristo Rey offers personal college counseling and preparation for its students, a crucial part of what makes our 100% college acceptance rate possible.
The curriculum at Cristo Rey Boston also includes a unique work study component. Our students spend five days a month working in an entry-level position in various corporate offices throughout Boston. In addition to gaining important skills useful in the workplace, students learn how to act in a professional environment. Our Corporate Work Study Program also allows us to maintain low tuition costs for each of our students.
Last year, 100% of our graduates were accepted to four-year colleges. We credit our success to our accomplished faculty and highly motivated students. The work program has helped our students realize that their dreams can become a reality.
In order to begin the application process, every prospective student must participate in the Knight for a Day program. The Knight for a Day program is Cristo Rey Boston’s student visitor program. In participating in the Knight for a Day, applicants can experience first-hand the special community we have.
